Bomber win 3rd in a row 7-1 over Kerry Park

The Bombers came into Friday night looking to defend home ice for the 3rd game in a row.

It all started when Aidan See took a Blake Power feed and scored short handed at 7:36 to make it 1-0 Bombers. Chase Pacheco would score at 9:15 to make it 2-0 and then 5 minutes later would rip is second of the period past Eric Young to make it 3-0 Bomb Squad after 1.

The second period was all Bombers starting with Jackson Payeur scoring through a ton of traffic to go up by 4. And just before I period would wrap up Brett Maclean would score his first of the season and the Bomb Squad led by 5 after 40 minutes.

The third period would be full of penalties as the 2 team literally filled the box at one point in the period. There was some goal scoring as Easton Sandberg would get his second of the season and that made it 6-0 Bombers at that point. Kerry Park would finally break through at 8:29 of the 3rd when Kellan Bates scored his 5th of the year from a sharp angle making it 6-1. The Bombers would add one more as Easton Sandberg scored his second of the period and that’s where we would finish 7-1 the final. The Bombers win there 3rd in a row and are now 3-3 Meanwhile the Islanders fall to 1-5 on the season.

The Bombers are next in action tomorrow night when they host the Saanich Predators 7pm puck drop at the Multiplex.
