The Port Alberni Bombers and the VIJHL have announced their schedule for the 22-23.
The Bomb Squad’s 2nd season will kick off on Friday September 9th when they travel to Oceanside to take on the Generals.
The Bombers will open the season with 3 straight on the road before finally opening at home on Saturday September 17th when they play host to the Victoria Cougars. That will be the first of 5 straight at the friendly confines of the Multiplex.
November 19th will see the Campbell River Storm make their 1st visit of the season to Port Alberni. It will be the 1st meeting since the clubs engaged in a classic 7 game series to open the VIJHL playoffs last season.
The season concludes on February 24th as the Bombers visit the defending league Champions, the Peninsula Panthers.
A year older, and wiser, will the Bombers take the next step this season? There is a lot to be decided between September 9th and February 24th.
