The Bombers are back in action tonight in their second game of the new VIJHL campaign.
The Bombers are 0-1 on the young season after dropping their first game last night 5 to 4 at the hands of the Oceanside Generals (1-0)
Tonight the team heads to Mill Bay to take on the Kerry Park Islanders in what will be Kerry Park’s first game of the season. KP went 2-0 against the Bombers last year sweeping the season series so the Bombers are definitely coming in with something to prove.
Early season wins can be big huge when the playoff picture starts to take form so the boys are looking to have a bounce back game tonight. Learning from yesterday will be huge for the Bombers as discipline was a factor in last nights contest. Leaning on the vets will also be huge as forward Carson Steel and returning D-man Jackson Payeur had big impacts for the Bombers both physically and on the scoring side.
