The Port Alberni Bombers spotted the South Division-leading Peninsula Panthers an early 3-0 lead and were unable to overcome the deficit, losing 5-2 at the Alberni Valley Multiplex on Saturday night.
Landon Turgeon, with the Bombers first home-ice goal of the 2023-24 season, and newcomer Owen Ditzel with a short-handed marker, tallied for the Bombers.
