Bombers drop 4th in a row 3-0 to Predators

The Bombers came into Friday night looking to avoid losing their 4th in a row when they faced off with the Saanich Predators.

The Opening frame was back and fourth until 15:11 when Zion Lavoie scored his 7th of the young season to put the preds up 1-0. The Bombers had 2 Grade A chances with Chase Pacheco and Aidan See both had break aways but the Bombers were unable to solve the Saanich net minder.

In period 2 the Bombers managed to keep it close but ran into a hot goaltender once again. Penalty trouble in the late stages of the middle frame saw Dayton Arneson score his 7th of the year on the Powerplay and that sent Saanich to the room with a 2-0 lead.

In the final frame everything started to boil over has both teams had multiple roughing Penalties but it was the 5 on 3 Powerplay for Saanich that really made the difference as Dayton Arneson scored his second of the night on the Powerplay and it was 3-0 Predators.

Jaden Vanderlee made 19 saves for his first shut out of the year. Lukas Toth made 30 saves on 33 shots in the loss. Saanich went 2-4 with the man advantage. Meanwhile the Bombers went 0-4.
