Bombers drop 5th in a row to Comox

The Bombers came into Comox looking to avoid a 5th loss in a row when they took on the North Division leading Glacier Kings.

 

In the first period the Bombers scored early something that they have not been able to do much this season. It was Carson Steel who scored his 3rd of the year 1:38 seconds into the hockey game and it was 1-0 Bombers. Comox would respond quick when Austin Montgomery-Parsons scored at 3:41 to tie the game at 1 there would be no more scoring and the teams would head to the room knotted at 1 after 20 minutes.

 

Both teams would get on the board again in period 2 as Nolan Bowsher scored at 8:38 to give Comox a 2-1 lead. The Bombers battled back hard and scored again at 10:14 with a goal from Grayson Erickson to tie the game at 2 but with under a minute to play Austin Montgomery-Parsons would score his second of the game to give Comox a 3-2 lead heading to the room.

 

Comox locked it down in period 3 as they Bombers could not manage many chances in the final frame. and it was all capped off by a empty net goal to hand the Bombers their 5th loss in a row. Comox went 0-3 on the Powerplay meanwhile the Bombers went 0-4.
