Bombers drop second in a row to Panthers 3-1

The Bombers came into Friday night looking to hand the Peninsula Panthers their first loss of the year and bounce back from a loss at home on Wednesday.

The first period was back and forth with the Panthers controlling the flow for the majority of the period. There was no scoring and the game was Knotted at 0 after 20 minutes.

In Period number 2 both teams started got on the score board. It was the Panthers first when Tanner Banks walked into the slot at snapped one past Plendl at 9:03 of the second frame. Just over 2 minutes later Chase Pacheco would strike back for the bombers and that would make it 1-1 after 40.

Period three was all Panthers and they opened up the scoring. Getting goals from Peyton Braun and Tanner banks to increase their lead to 3-1. Thats where we would finish the Panthers continue the undefeated streak and improve to 8-0. Mean while the Bombers still have not won a game on the road and fall to 4-5.

The Bombers are next in action on Wednesday when they host the Oceanside Generals.

All local youth 18 and under receive free admission to that game thanks to the San Group. And as always the game will be broadcast live on HockeyTV
