The Port Alberni Bombers (11-15-2-0, 4th North) are back on the road tonight, as they take on the Campbell River Storm (23-2-2-0, 1st North) at the Gerry Morgan Memorial Centre in Gold River.
The Bombers last played Wednesday night at the Bomber Base, where they fell 6-3 to the Oceanside Generals.
The Storm were in Nanaimo, where they won their fifth straight over the Buccaneers by a 4-2 score.
This will be the fifth head-to-head meeting between the teams. The Storm have a 4 and 0 record so far. They too the season opener in Campbell River, 6-1 on September 10th, and earned victories in the subsequent follow up matches 4-1 at the Multiplex on September 22nd, 5-3 at home October 15th, and most recently 5-2 at the Bomber Base on November 17th.
Tonight’s game time is 7:45pm.
