Bombers Host Buccaneers in second of four straight at home.

Saturday night will be one of the biggest challenges to date as the Port Alberni Bombers who are 2 points out of a playoff spot will host the struggling Nanaimo Buccaneers.

 

Last game for the Bombers was a tough test against the best team the in League the Oceanside Generals. That game was all Gens from start to finish as the listing team would come in and put up 6 on the Homeside in what was a 6-0 Oceanside win. The Bombers got solid goaltending in that game from Lukas Toth but the Bomb Squad was unable to solve Matthew Hutchinson.

 

Tonight game 4 VS the Buccs with the Bombers leading the Season series 3 games to 0. The last game between these teams was on January 5th at the Nanaimo Ice Centre. That one was a runaway for the Bombers as they would take it by a score of 6-1 In that game the Bombers would get scoring from Kai Verbrugee Mason Cannon Sam Davidson Chase Pacheco and Blake Power. Lukas Toth made 28 saves in the win.
