It’s the third straight meeting between these teams in a week, as the Bombers (14-25-2-1, 5th North) host the Oceanside Generals (27-10-1-1, 2nd North) tonight at the Bomber Base.
The Bombers enter play tonight on a six game losing streak, while the Generals have won seven in a row. This will be the third meeting between the teams in six days, after the Generals swept last weekend’s home-and-home set, with victories of 8-0 and 2-0 in Port Alberni and Oceanside respectively last Friday and Saturday.
The Generals lead the season series, winning all eight previous games – 4-3 in overtime September 25th in Oceanside, 6-0 at the Bomber Base on October 27th, 6-2 at Oceanside place on October 30th, 5-1 at the Bomber Base on November 19th , 8-5 at Oceanside Place on November 20th and 6-3 at the Bomber Base on December 1st.
The Bombers next see action Friday night in Campbell River against the Storm.
Game time 7:00 PM.
Local Youth receive free admission when accompanied by an Adult, thanks to the San Group.
