Bombers host Glacier Kings tonight

It’s back to home ice tonight for the Bombers (14-20-2-1, 5th North) as they host the Comox Valley Glacier Kings (21-16-0-0, 3rd North) at the Bomber Base with another two huge points up for grabs in the VIJHL’s playoff race.

The Bombers last saw action Saturday night in Kerry Park, where they fell 6-0 to the Islanders.  The Glacier Kings enter play tonight on a three-game winning streak, after a 7-2 win Saturday night at home over the Lake Cowichan Kraken.

The last meeting between the teams saw the Glacier Kings earn an 8-1 win in the Comox Valley on January 8th. 

In the season series, the Bombers have a 3-2-0-1 record head to head. They won by a 4-3 score on on the road on November 27th  Prior to that November 23rd at the Bomber Base, it was a  2-1 Bomber win  The Bombers won the inaugural meeting 3-2 at home on September 29th. The Glacier Kings responded with a 5-2 win at home on October 2nd.

 

Game time is 7:00 PM.

All Local Youth receive free admission when accompanied by an Adult, thanks to the San Group.
