Bombers Host Wolves in Second Game Of Back To Back

Saturday night will wrap up a home at home series with the Westshore Wolves and with the Bombers desperately needing something to go their way it’s probably going to be their biggest game of the Season.

Friday night was another example of letting opportunities slip away as the Bombers went 0 for 2 on the Powerplay and allowed Westshore to score 2 unanswered in the third period as they went on to win 4-2. The Bombers remain winless on the road and the struggles with the man advantage continue. But tonight another chance this time on home ice 24 hours later they will see the same team.

Tanner Burt and Justin Osborne have been bright spots for the Bombers during this tough stretch with Burt looking to be that top guy on the back end and Osborne is finding his scoring touch as he has scored 3 in the last 4 games. Felix Plendl has played the last 3 in a row and has looked solid in all of those starts which include backstopping the Bombers to a shootout win vs Lake Cowichan.

The Bombers currently sit at 5th in the North Division with 14 points and are 5 points behind Lake Cowichan for 4th. Westshore currently has 17 points and sits 4th in the South. Game Time is 7pm at the Bomber Base and you can catch the game live on HockeyTV.
