Bombers lose 5-1 to Kraken

The Bombers came into Wednesday night looking to bounce back from a tough loss in Victoria when they Hosted the Lake Cowichan Kraken.

 

The game started quick for the Kraken when less than half way though period one when Former Bomber Gavin Mastrodonato scored his 2nd of the year to give the Kraken an early 1-0 lead. Lake Cowichan kept coming when less than 4 minutes later Anthony Wilson would put the Kraken up 2-0. Kenyon Mcisaac would get the Bombers back in it when he scored short handed to cut the Kraken lead to 1. The Kraken would score 2 unanswered and head to the room with a 4-1 lead after 20 minutes.

 

Period 2 was tight checking with not many chances on either side. Carter Andersen would score his 1st of the season and that would put the kraken up 5-1. they went into a defensive shell after that not allowing the bombers any space to work. it was 5-1 after 40 minutes.

 

The third period was much of the same the kraken gave no room for the bombers to get anything going completely shutting the game down. there was no scoring in period 3 and the game would end as a 5-1 kraken win. the Bombers went 0-4 with the man advantage the Kraken went 2-9.
