Bombers Play Generals for Second Game in a Row

The Port Alberni Bombers (8-12-2) are going to be playing their biggest rival for a second straight night, as they will visit the Oceanside Generals (14-6-1).

Just the night before, the Generals took another win over the Bombers for a third time this season. And made it known that it will always be a physical and intense meeting every time.

As the two teams collected 203 penalty minutes in their last meeting. 155 of which came in the third period. This also included 14 10-minute misconducts.

For the Bombers in this contest, keep your emotions in check. It’s tough to do that against a team that has had success against you. But it’s much more hurtful to light a team up on the scoresheet. Instead of just trying to prove you’re the more physical team.

Another thing to also try and shore up for the Bombers is to try to limit the chances that are given up. As the Bombers gave up 55 shots in their previous game. Something that cannot continue if the team wants to have more success.

Puck drop will be at 7:00 PM and can be seen live over on HockeyTV. The link for the broadcast will be down below.
