The Port Alberni Bombers will be one of 9 junior hockey teams from across the west scouting the inaugural Hockey Valley Jr Showcase to be held April 8th to 10th at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
The Bombers will be joined by teams from the VIJHL, PIJHL, BCHL, AJHL & SJHL scouting players who are hoping to either make the jump to Junior hockey, or advance from Jr B to Jr A.
This year the Bulldogs saw both Brady McIssac and Blake Power make the jump to the BCHL and the hope is that this camp will provide other opportunities to players. “It’s not easy to crack a BCHL line-up said Bombers President David Michaud. “Our hope is by having numerous junior teams scout this event it will open door for players beyond the Bulldogs and the BCHL.”
Players can expect a professionally run camp with both games and practices. All games will be streamed as well.
