Bombers try to make it 5 in a row VS Comox Valley

Wednesday night marks the end of a five game homestand for the Bombers when they host the league’s top team the Comox Valley Glacier Kings.

 

The Bombers however are one of the VIJHLs hottest teams, Winning 4 games in a row on home ice and outscoring opponent’s 19-6 in the process. The Bombers have been getting timely scoring from important guys like Chase Pacheco, Aidan See, Blake Power and Carson Steel. That mixed with Stellar goaltending from Lukas Toth and Felix Plendl the Bombers are quickly becoming a team that no one in the league wants to face.

 

But tonight, a new challenge in the form of the current first place team in the VIJHL the Comox Valley Glacier Kings, Comox currently sits at 6-1 and has three players with over 10 points (Jean-Michael Gilbert, Logan Furlong, Nick Esposito) and have a goal differential of +23. The G-Kings suffered their first loss of the 22/23 season on Saturday when they dropped a 5-2 decision to the Victoria Cougars.

 

In the Bombers last game, they extended the win streak to 4 games when they shut out the Saanich Predators 3-0 Improving their record to 4-3 and giving them soul possession of 3rd in the north division.
