Bombers Visit Buccaneers Tonight

A rare Thursday night battle will see the Bombers make their first trip of the season to the pirate ship to face the Nanaimo Buccaneers.

 

The last game for the Bombers saw the boys head to Campbell River to face off with the Storm at the Brindy. In that game the Bombers would strike early with a Powerplay marker from Carson Steel that would put the Bombers up 1-0 it was all Campbell River after that with the Storm scoring 5 unanswered to take the game 5-1. The Bombers went 1/3 on the powerplay the storm went 2/6.

 

Tonight the second meeting off the season between the Bombers and the Buccs this time on Nanaimo’s home turf. The last time these teams met was way back in October at the multi-plex. In that game it was an offensive show from the Bombers as they put up 6 goals in route to a 6-1 final on that night. In that game the Bombers went 2/6 with the man advantage the Buccs went 0/2.
