The Bombers come into Saturday night looking to Avoid dropping their 5th game in a row.
Still without a road win this season the Port Alberni Bombers hit the road for the second of a back to back Against the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. The Bombers were handed their 4th loss in a row on Friday night at the hands of the Saanich Predators. The offensive struggles continued as the Bombers could only muster 16 shots in a game they lost 3-0.
Tonight it will be the north division leading Comox Valley Glacier Kings welcoming the Bombers to Comox for the first time this season. The last time these teams faced off it was a 5-0 G-KIng win at the Bomber Base. In that game the Glacier Kings locked it up in the first period as they had a 4-0 lead after 20 minutes.
The Bombers will look to turn the tide and get the offence going as they have only been able to score 3 goals in the last 3 games meanwhile allowing 11 goals against in that same span.
