The Bombers come into Sunday evening looking to get back on the winning side of things as. they face the Kraken for the second time in 3 games.
The last game was a loss at home to the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. In that game the Bombers went 1-3 on the Powerplay and allowed 3 goals in the second period in what ended up as a 6-4 Comox win. The Bombers kept themselves in that was getting some late scoring to keep it close but it was ultimately to little to late as the Bombers fall to 0-3 vs the Glacier kings this season. Even in the loss Felix Plendl looked outstanding making 39 saves on 44 shots and keeping his team in the game the entire time.
The last time the Bombers and Kraken met it was a back and forth for all 60 minutes plus overtime and it would take a shootout for the Bombers to claim the W in that one. Jackson Payeur would score the game winner in the shootout as that would snap a 6 game losing streak. Felix Plendl made 31 saves on 33 shots in route to his 3rd win of the VIJHL season.
