Bombers Win Second in a row VS Comox Valley 3-0

The Bombers came into a rare Tuesday night matchup trying to win their first game on the road this season as they travelled to Comox Valley for a battle with the Glacier Kings.

The first period was a goalie showcase with both Josh Doherty and Lukas Toth playing in top form as both sides got some good chances at the offensive end but the game would ultimately be tied at zero when both teams went to the room after 20 minutes.

In period number 2 it was the Bombers striking first as Aidan See scored his 7th of the season to put the Bombers up 1-0 Lukas Toth stopped all 8 shots he faced in the middle frame as the Bombers would go into the second intermission with a 1 goal lead.

In the final frame the Bombers would lock down defensively not giving the Glacier kings any room to get anything going. Carson Steel would score his 7th of the year at 7:06 of period 3 on the power play to give the Bombers a 2-0 lead. Comox pressed at the end but Grayson Erickson would score the empty netter and seal the fate of Comox. 3-0 the final Lukas Toth made 39 saves in route to his first VIJHL shutout. The bombers went 1-5 with the man advantage Comox went 0-2.
