Kenyon McIsaac Commits to Bombers

The Port Alberni Bombers have added the first piece of what they hope will be a successful puzzle in the 2022-2023 season as the club announced the commitment of 2006 born defenceman Kenyon McIsaac from Prince George, BC.

Kenyon is the younger brother of Brady McIsaac.

As captain of the Burnaby Winter Club’s U16 squad, McIssac had 6 goals and 26 assists for 32 points in 29 games played this past season.

For his part, head coach and general manager Gaelan Patterson was thrilled to add Kenyon to the Bombers roster for next season. “Kenyon is a smart and mobile defenceman who sees the ice very well and has good offensive instincts. Kenyon has all the potential to make it to the next level and we’re very excited that he has committed to our organization and we look forward to helping him excel on and off the ice.”

McIsaac echoed his new coaches excitement about suiting up for the Bombers. “I couldn’t be more excited to join the Bombers program for the upcoming season. I genuinely believe this is the right fit for me as I continue my development and my pursuit of the next level. I’m looking forward to playing for coach Gaelan and helping the Bombers chase a VIJHL championship.”

Patterson and the Bombers will be taking part in the inaugural  Hockey Valley Jr Showcase April 8th to 10th at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. They hope to find more roster additions at the event.
