The Port Alberni Bombers are proud to announce that Blake Power has been named the 2nd captain in franchise history.
The captaincy opened when the Bombers traded 20-year old defenceman Evan Vasarhely to the Lake Cowichan Kraken for future considerations last week.
Power, a native of Port Alberni re-joined the Bombers this season after a stint with the BCHL’s Nanaimo Clippers. In 17 games this season, Power has recored 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points. In 52 career VIJHL games, Power has recorded 17 goals and 29 assists for 46 points.
