Wolves Defeat Bombers 4-2

The Bombers came into Friday night needing a win and looked to do just that when they took on the Westshore Wolves in what would begin a home at home series concluding tomorrow in Port Alberni.

The Bombers got on the board first with Robbie Steel scoring his first of the season at 4:43 to tie the game at 1. Just over halfway through Evan Loucks would jump on a loose puck in front of the Bomber net and pot his 3rd of the season giving the Wolves a 2-1 lead but the Bombers just wouldn’t go away Justin Osborne would score his 5th of the season at 18:05 to send the teams to the room deadlocked at 2 after 40 minutes.

The Third period would be all Westshore as the wolves waited until the final 5 minutes of regulation to score 2 unanswered and take this game by a score of 4-2. The Bombers went 0/3 of the Powerplay meanwhile the Wolves went 1/2.
