The Port Alberni Bombers (11-14-2-0) return to the Bomber Base tonight after three straight games on the road last weekend as they host their VIJHL North Division rivals, the Oceanside Generals (17-7-1-0)
The Bombers enter tonight on a two game winning streak, most recently seeing action in Nanaimo on Sunday night, where they defeated the Buccaneers by a 6-3 score. The Generals also last played Sunday – on home ice, where they had a four game winning streak halted with a 3-1 loss to the Campbell River Storm.
The Generals lead the season series, winning all five previous games – 4-3 in overtime September 25th in Oceanside, 6-0 at the Bomber Base on October 27th, 6-2 at Oceanside place on October 30th, 5-1 at the Bomber Base on November 19th and 8-5 at Oceanside Place on November 20th.
Don’t forget all Local Youth 18 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an Adult, thanks to the San Group.
