Bombers Begin Homestand Against Buccaneers

The Port Alberni Bombers (6-9-2) are beginning a five-game homestand against the Nanaimo Buccaneers (0-17-1)  tonight.

The last time these two teams played each other, the Bombers did a number on the Buccaneers. Defeating the Buccaneers by a score of 10-2.

The Bombers will look to get off to a hot start and release some anger they’re still feeling after losing the Oceanside Generals two times last week. By the scores of 6-0 and 6-2.

As for the Buccaneers, they should be looking to try and begin November on a positive note. As the 2021-22 season has been a nightmare season for them.

Bombers players though need to make sure that this isn’t a write-off game just because of the Buccaneers’ record. And if there is anything hockey fans know, it’s that anything can happen on any given night.

Puck drop will begin at 7:00 PM. Tickets will be available for $10 for an adult and $5 for those under 18. However, if you’re under 18 and are accompanied by an adult, you’ll be able to watch the game for free. Thanks to the San Group.

And if you’re unable to make it to the game, you can catch the game live on HockeyTV and Mixlr. A link for both the broadcasts will be down below.

COVID-19 regulations and restrictions will be in place at the arena.
