The Port Alberni Bombers lost their second one-goal game of the weekend, this time 2-1 to the Oceanside Generals in Parksville on Saturday night.
Going into the third period tied at one, the Bombers couldn’t respond after a late goal by former Bomber Grayson Erickson put his team ahead.
Owen Ditzel scored the lone Bomber goal, while Damien Knackstedt had another solid game in the Bomber goal, stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced.
Saturday’s encounter concludes the 2023-24 Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League season for the Bombers.
