The Port Alberni Bombers have acquired 2002 Forward Carson Steel from the Nanaimo Buccaneers in exchange for future considerations. The trade bring the Port Alberni native back home in the Bombers 1st ever trade.
Steel appeared in 8 games with the Comox Valley Glacier Kings in 2020-2021 before the season was cut short due to health restrictions. Steel registered 1 goal and 1 assist in the 8 games. His rights were later transferred to the Nanaimo Buccaneers, unfortunately the VIJHL season never did resume.
