Bombers drop 2-0 decision in Oceanside

The game was scoreless into the dying seconds of the first, but the Generals took a 1-0 lead to the room on a power play marker with 3 seconds to play in the period, with Carter Johnson scoring. 

The Generals added to their lead with seven minutes to play in the second, as Jacob Thomas made it 2-0 after 40 minutes. 

 

There would be no scoring the rest of the way, as the game ended in a 2-0 final. 

 

Shots were 56-23 Generals, with Callum Tung being fantastic in taking the loss while earning game star honours. Matthew Spencer-Dahl earned the shut out and the win for the Generals. The Bombers went 0 for 3 on the power play, while the Generals went 1 for 4. 

 

The Bombers next see action Wednesday night, when they host the Generals at the Bomber Base.
