Bombers Host Wolves Tonight

The Bombers come into Saturday nights matchup with Westshore in the middle of a three game losing streak and are looking to turn the tide on home ice.

It’s the second game of a back to back for the Port Alberni Bombers as they look to bounce back from three straight losses hosting the Westshore Wolves. The game last night for the Bombers was a case of too little too late as a last minute goal from Kenyon Mcisaac got them within one but wasn’t enough to come back against Oceanside. The Bombers currently sit 5th in the North Division with 11 points and are 3 points back of Lake Cowichan for 4th. Westshore sits 4th in the South with 12 points and are 8 points back of Saanich for 3rd.

This will be the first of four regular season meetings for the clubs who won’t play again until November 19th back at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. The Wolves come into this game having dropped their last contest 6-4 at the hands of the Lake Cowichan Kraken. Westshore had eight chances on the Powerplay but were only able to score twice with the man advantage.

Puck drop for tonights game is 7pm as always the game will be broadcast live on HockeyTV.
