The Port Alberni Bombers lost 3-0 to the Victoria Cougars in Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League action in Victoria on Thursday night.
The Cougars scored a power-play goal in the first period and added two more goals in the third frame to win their tenth game of the season to remain atop the VIJHL’s South Division.
Bombers goaltender, Damien Knackstedt was named the game’s first star, stopping 48 of 51 shots in a losing cause.
