Coming off two solid efforts last weekend, the Port Alberni Bombers were brought back to earth by Oceanside Generals who defeated their hosts 8-1 on Wednesday night at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
Kash Nicklin was the lone marksman for the Bombers, scoring his fifteenth goal of the season. Owen Ditzel and Kai Verbrugge assisted on the goal.
Generals leading scorer Jacob Thomas picked up a goal and two assists to lead the Generals, while Grayson Erickson and Brady O’Brien had a goal and an assist each.
The Bombers are in action on Friday night when they play host to Westshore Wolves at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. Opening face-off is set for 7:00 pm.
