Bombers visit Generals tonight

It’s the fourth head-to-head meeting between these teams in just 11 days, as the Bombers (15-26-2-1, 5th North) visit the Oceanside Generals (28-11-1-1, 2nd North) tonight at Oceanside Place.

The Bombers were in Campbell River last night, where they fell 7-3 to the Storm.  The Generals were in Lake Cowichan last night, where they did the Bombers a favour by skating to a 4-1 win over the Kraken.

This is the tenth head-to-head battle between these teams, with the Generals winning eight of the nine previous meetings. The Bombers won the most recent meeting however, 5-3 in comeback fashion in the third period Wednesday night at the Bomber Base. The previous meetings this season saw the Generals come out on top  4-3 in overtime September 25th in Oceanside6-0 at the Bomber Base on October 27th6-2 at Oceanside place on October 30th5-1 at the Bomber Base on November 19th , 8-5 at Oceanside Place on November 20th,  6-3 at the Bomber Base on December 1st, 8-0 in Port Alberni on January 28th  and 2-0 in Oceanside on January 29th.

The Bombers next see action Wednesday night at home when they host the Nanaimo Buccaneers.
