Maher & Verbrugge Latest Commitments in Bomber Build

The Bombers went up island to secure one of their newest forwards, and didn’t have to look too far for the other.

Kai Verbrugge, an 05 forward from Port McNeil will has committed to the Jr B Bombers for their 2nd season this fall.  The 5’9″, 170 pound Verbrugge spent the 2021-2022 season playing for the BCEHL U18 North Island Silvertips where he scored 3 goals and added 5 assists for 8 points.  He also suited up in one game with the Nanaimo Buccaneers as an affiliate player where Verbrugge scored twice.

The Bombers also received a commitment from local 05 born forward Cam Maher for the 22-23 season.  Maher suited for 16 games for the Bombers as an affiliate player last year and contributed 1 goal and 2 assists.

The Bombers continue to focus on young talent around the province as they show players that time in Hockey Valley is well spent on their development path.  The inaugural Bobmers will graduate several players onto the Jr A hockey and Gaelan Patterson is looking to re-stock the cupboards with fresh talent.
