Friday nights game was nothing short of electric for the Port Alberni Bombers as they took the struggling Kerry Park Islanders to task in a 7-1 victory that saw the win streak extended to 3 games. Bomber goals came from Chase Pacheco Aidan See Jackson Payeur Brett Maclean and Easton Sandberg. The game was High octane the whole time as we saw over 220 penalty minutes handed out in a 3rd period riddled with 10 minute misconducts.

The Predators also played on Friday night as they took on the undefeated Comox Valley Glacier Kings at the George Pearkes Arena. That game was back and forth all night long tight checking in the opening 20 minutes had it locked at 0 after 1. Both teams would get on the board twice in period number 2 and it was 2-2 after 40 minutes. The final frame would be the same as the one before it with both teams scoring twice and it was tied 4-4 after regulation. Overtime would solve nothing and Comox would need a shootout to get the win. 5-4 the final Comox improves to 6-0 meanwhile Saanich falls to 3-1-1.
