The Port Alberni Bombers host the Lake Cowichan Kraken in an important contest on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. The Kraken currently sit in fourth place in the VIJHL North Division standings, eight points ahead of the Bombers in the last playoff spot. Although it is still early days in the 2023-24 season it is important the Bombers stay within striking distance if they have any hopes of securing a playoff spot.
