The Port Alberni Bombers host North Division-leading Campbell River Storm in a Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) contest Sunday at 6 pm at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. The game will be the second meeting of the two combatants in three days.
On Friday in Campbell River, the Storm rolled to a convincing 11-3 decision over the Bombers, asserting their standing as one of the leading teams in the VIJHL.
The Bombers could catch the Storm somewhat exhausted though, as the North Island crew will be playing their third game in three nights. The Storm suffered a 4-1 setback to Oceanside Generals on Saturday evening in Parksville.
The Storm have won all four meetings between the teams this season, the Bombers having picked up one point from an overtime loss.
