The Port Alberni Bombers, hoping to end their 2023-24 Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League campaign on a positive note, travel to Fuller Lake on Saturday night to face Kerry Park Islanders.
The Bombers have lost four games in a row and are hoping to upend a Kerry Park team that surrendered a 5-3 loss to league-leading Campbell River Storm on Friday night. The Islanders led the contest throughout before allowing three third-period tallies to the Storm.
Opening face-off on Saturday night is set for 7:30 pm.
