The Port Alberni Bombers dropped a 6-0 Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League decision to Kerry Park Islanders on Saturday night at the Kerry Park Arena.
Jacob Wingfield led the Islanders, tallying a goal and two assists, while Finlay Klippenstein and Noah Hovde added one goal and one assist each.
Ryder Gregga recorded the shutout for the Islanders, stopping 18 shots on the evening.
The next game for the Bombers is Friday night when they host Comox Valley Glacier Kings in a 7:00 pm start at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. That contest will be the last game on home ice for the Bombers in the 2023-24 season. The team wraps up their campaign the following night when the meet the Oceanside Generals in Parksville.
