Fresh off a convincing 8-4 victory over the Nanaimo Buccaneers on Sunday evening in Nanaimo, the Port Alberni Bombers welcome those same Buccaneers to the Alberni Valley Multiplex for a Friday evening match-up. The Bombers now lead the season series 3-1 and will hope to extend that lead in front of what promises to be a good sized crowd. The Bombers, in conjunction with Jiffy Lube, are admitting all fans free of charge for the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League game. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
There will be no rest for the Bombers after Friday’s contest as they will welcome Lake Cowichan Kraken to the Multiplex on Saturday evening for another VIJHL contest.
