Bombers Visit Generals Tonight

The Bombers head to Parksville on Friday night for a VIJHL battle with the Oceanside Generals.

This is the third meeting between the North Division rivals with both of the first two games going to the Generals. The Bombers last played on Wednesday night when they took on the Campbell River Storm. In that game it looked like Campbell River would hang on for the win but with less than a minute left in period three Carson Steel scored from an impossible angle to tie the game at 3 and send it to overtime. The extra frame would solve nothing and the Storm would go on to win 4-3 in a shootout. The Bombers went 1-3 with the man advantage meanwhile Campbell River went 1-5.

A big key for the Bombers In this game will be limiting turnovers. They have turned the puck over a lot to this General team and will need to limit that to keep this high octane Oceanside offence at bay.

Tonights game will be available on HockeyTV and keep to locked to all of the Bombers socials for updates before during and after the game.

The Bombers next home action will be Saturday night when they host the Westshore Wolves.
