Verbrugge Wins September Player of the Month

As one of only 2 returning players on the opening night roster, expectations of Kai Verbrugge were high to start the season for Bombers Head Coach and General Manager Brad Knight. Verbrugge has delivered on those expectations both on and off the ice as he was named the very first Alberni Lifeline player of the month for September.

After posting 4 points in 39 games during his rookie campaign last year, Verbrugge has already surpassed those totals with 5 points in the Bombers 7 September games.

As the Alberni Lifeline player of the month, Verbrugge receives a gift card from All Mex’d Up and his name on the beautiful trophy crafted by DBA Silencing here in Port Alberni.

Vebrugge and the Bombers look to snap their skid tonight as they face the Kerry Park Islanders at the Bomber Base.  Puck drop is 7 pm.
