After back to back postponements due to weather, it’s the first game of 2022 for the Bombers (13-18-2-1, 5th North) as they visit the Comox Valley Glacier Kings (18-15-0-0, 3rd North) tonight.
The Bombers were last in action Thursday, December 30th in Nanaimo, where they halted a two-game slide with a 10-4 throttling of the Nanaimo Buccaneers.
The Glacier Kings haven’t seen game action since December 18th, when they topped the Bombers 3-2 in a shoot out.
The Bombers lead the season series with a 3-1-0-1 record head to head. They won by a 4-3 score on on the road on November 27th Prior to that November 23rd at the Bomber Base, it was a 2-1 Bomber win The Bombers won the inaugural meeting 3-2 at home on September 29th. The Glacier Kings responded with a 5-2 win at home on October 2nd.
